Ohyummy FAQ
What is ohyummy?
Its the product of a labor of love, for food and for others. The creator of this site had in mind bringing together technology, food and restaurants, a field that the web seemed to have skipped altogether.
We try to bridge knowledge gaps and cultural barriers that keep people from experiencing new cuisines, and learning about 'the other'. By learning the story of the dishes, and the restaurants, we can get a better appreciation for the food that we eat. That, we think is a win on itself.
By helping us with your opinions, we get a better understanding of what consumers want. Consumers drive and make the market, but this is usually lost, since there is nothing great out there to measure feedback. Now there is, and that is ohyummy.com
| |
Who are we?
A group of dedicated foodies, techies and assorted geek types that want to help others (and maybe themselves a little) to Eat Better. What 'eating better' exactly means to everyone differs, and that is a good thing too.

Why ohyummy.com?
Because barriers to knowledge and access to information are important to us. Sharing information and knowledge can only make us appreciate more our differences, and all of our diversity.
We want to simplify these new experiences, and give you the best possible story available. Since 'a meal is never just a meal', we try to help you enhance the time you take for these events.

What's in it for me to participate?
The inside scoop, the meaty bits, the interesting choices, and most importantly, what others are saying about you (as a restaurant) and what other things you will enjoy (as a diner / foodie)
